Established in 2015, Duncan Land & Auction, Inc. was a vision of Managing Broker/co-owner Ken Duncan for many years while working as a broker with Sterling Land Company. With 8+ years of experience of working with buyers, sellers and investors of all sorts for farmland and rural properties, Ken listens to the needs of his clients and knows how to match the right buyer with the right property. Ken offers his rural lifestyle experiences to help clients relate and to identify their exact needs. Ken has the ability and experience to market rural properties and has sold properties ranging from $100,000 to several million dollars and has successfully closed over $35 million in the last 8 years. Ken is married to co-owner Marcy Lawrence who is instrumental for keeping the books, managing the office and oftentimes clerking for our auctions….and she keeps us in balance!

Paul Handsaker grew up on a family farm in Central Iowa. After graduating from college and spending three years in agricultural advertising sales on the East coast, Paul moved home and successfully ran the family farm and cattle operation. Paul has also spent most of his life in agricultural sales including advertising and National Sales Manager for Exiss Aluminum Trailers. Paul has continued in Agriculture product sales in the seed industry. Paul moved to Northwest Illinois in 1996. Paul, Dianne and their two children live in the Pearl City area and continue to raise and show purebred Angus Cattle. In 1990 Paul fulfilled a dream and graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering, Mason City, Iowa. Since that time Paul has used his professional auctioneering skills to travel the Midwest and conduct hundreds of auctions of all types including; heavy construction equipment, cattle, automobiles, farm equipment, charity, estate and real estate. With Paul’s vast experience in agriculture, sales and auctions, he is a great addition to Duncan Land and Auction. Paul believes it still comes down to relationships and providing a service that you will come to expect from him and Duncan Land and Auction.
